Welcome to Bethany Christian Church,

from the Education Department!

 

Have questions about faith? So do we. We learn best together. Bible studies, book studies, Sunday School, devotional literature and special programs such as Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University are offered throughout the year and will help you deepen your relationship with God and learn more about the Christian faith. Bible and book studies are offered during the day and at night on a rotating basis. Vacation Bible Camp is offered each summer. Women's circles meet throughout the year.

          At Bethany we are striving to achieve our mission statement.  We are praying every day that God will guide the way.  We can start in our Sunday school classes.  The more  we know, the more we can impact this world! We live in a world that needs Jesus now more than ever.

 

          We believe in God the Father, We believe in Jesus Christ, we believe in the Holy Spirit, and how that can change everything!  Come and learn with us!!

 

          Each Sunday school class gives each member and visitor a chance to learn more about Christ. Each day is a chance to discuss and grow together as the body. Even if we don't have anything to say, our changed hearts could still make  a huge difference. 

 

          Each class utilizes different materials for teaching depending on what the class is requesting.

 

          We have Sunday school classes for every age that meet every week at 9:45am before the worship service at 11:00am. They are in various locations around the church.

The classes are as follows:

 

Nursery- Infants to crawlers are welcome in here. We have wonderful

members that will be more than happy to help care for your child so you can 

attend one of our classes.

Toddlers- Same goes here, In nursery, at the end of hall on ground floor

Pre K- 5th grade- 2nd floor, first classroom beside choir room

 (parents, please walk your children to the classroom)

Middle school- Classroom right beside pre K on Second floor

IMPACT (High School-40's)- meet on second floor across from the Focus Class

Focus class- meet on second floor beside middle school classroom

Seekers-  50's-70's – meet in the library   

Fellowship- 70'sand Up  in the Fellowship Hall

We have an additional Sunday school class that happens once a month here at Bethany. 

It is called the L.I.F.E. Class. It is taught by different volunteer members every month. It happens on the first Sunday of every month and everyone meets in the Sanctuary. Most of the members of Bethany attend this class so the regular classes may be empty on that day. It is a fun and interactive class where we get to bring all ages and minds together for unique lessons. Each one is different with an individual style and instruction but the common factor is we all learn a little bit more. We grow as an individual, as a family, and as community members. So come and join us, we would love to have you.

 

**During the Church hour the children have Children's Church. After the Children's Moment, the older children are allowed to go if they would like. The little ones can go do a craft and sings some fun songs!! There will be an adult waiting at the back of the sanctuary for them.  When church is over, the older children will be waiting for you outside the sanctuary doors.  The younger children will be in the room closest to the nursery.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

 

Bible and book studies

 

Studies are small and casual. You’ll find people who are curious about Christianity, new to the faith, mature in their faith and seeking to deepen their understanding. We invite you to find your place in the circle and bring your questions, personal experience, ideas, tears, laughter or even silence if you want to just sit and listen.
