who we are

 

 

We are a family of faith, committed to worshipping God, deepening our faith, spreading the gospel, and serving where Christ leads. 

We come from all walks of life, were born in 10 different decades and have no shortage of differing opinions. But what we have in common is far more important than our differences: a desire to worship God, serve and explore our faith.

 

Bethany was organized in 1890 and moved to its present location in 1959. It was originally called Cowardin Avenue Christian Church. Bethany is one of 16 Disciples churches in the greater Richmond area.
